Busy, busy, busy in such a good way =)

Hi all!!

I have been having so much fun over the last few months being a part of a handful of DTs, most recently Studio Fourteen40's Guest Designer after winning their first ever challenge!

Slightly behind with my other commitment due to a fab family holiday, and wonderful teacher life experiences but today is the day to get that all sorted =)

So far with the beautiful goodies from Studio Fourteen40 I have completed May's challenge (yes I know I should have already shared that =/ sorry) and a wonderful First ANZAC March LO...

May Challenge was a fab sketch!!
So much fun, and great for working with multiple shots =)

Tin Flair, 'Remember this' journalling tag and Veneer Cog from S1440

Might have to use this sketch again soon I think!

Then there was the limited edition ANZAC Tin Flairs created by S1440 as a fundraiser where all proceeds went to Soldier On

I kept this one really simple and clean...

I was also able to incorporate D-Lish Scraps' Poppies, Wood Veneer Numbers, Resin flower and Black doily.

Then just for fun....Cheeky Monkey Ruby-Rose our niece and now also our God-daughter, what a surprise!!! Such a beautiful morning in sunny QLD =)

Tin Flair, Use Your Words 'Cheeky Monkey', Veneer Heart and She is Beautiful Tagz & Flagz all from Studio Fourteen40

Flowers and Mesh from D-Lish with lots of bits from my stash, mostly collected from lace or buttons etc.

I had a play with my grey Gelato and a baby wipe with this one too, which wasn't perfect to me but certainly will try that again =)

So this month's challenge from Studio Fourteen40 is still to be announced...watch this space!

Now to go create, so I can blog again real soon (fingers crossed!)

Take care, Ree x

All things wedding-fied!

Hi Guys!

I have had this page all done and shared for the Jot Magazine April Challenge but needed to grab the chance to get up on here to enter this wonderful Mood Board =)

Find it here!
Gorgeous right?!?!?!

Perfect for my dear friend's wedding group selfie I took...

I got use the beautiful butterflies she had dressing our glasses and place tags, just added a bit of colour.

Also for something different...for the gold boards and that divine arrow, I used (drum roll please LOL) temporary tattoos!!!
This was such a hard pic to document, I think mostly because I wanted it to be perfect, but this mood board helped soooo much x

Hope you love too!

Chat soon,

Monday 6 April 2015

Hey Hey, I am back!!!

I have been creating pretty frequently of late, thanks to my role as a member on D-Lish Scraps Inspiration Team for the last near 6 months, and (dare I put the two in the same sentence =/) as a DT member for Scrapbooking Top 50 Australia!

I have also just sent off a possible LO of publication...

But today I took on a challenge and scrapped for myself =)

So I checked out Studio Fourteen40's  colour challenge!

So pretty!!!

My beautiful Mia and he beloved Cookie Bear <3 so much love!!
I had so much fun!
Now don't forget to check out this month's D-Lish Inspo board

And of course...
Scrapbooking Top 50 Australia's April Challenge, this one is all about 'Happy'
here is my inspo page

Come and play along!!
Take care, type soon

Oh My Gosh!! I have done it again! Nearly a whole year between posts =/

The wonderful team at D-Lish have got me inspired again. So much so that I have done some major sorting so I can create whenever I like....at the kitchen table =)

In August we had a cybercrop that was full of challenges in The Scrap Suite which provided us with some really fantastic challenges, and I got all four done.

Use a Selfie

OUT FOR PUBLICATION =)

Use monochromatic embellies

Scrap something non living and add triangles

Use stamps

All wonderfully fun to do!
I was able to be simplistic in design or messy and textual if I chose =)

This weekend I have been playing too!

I have had this picture of my Mum and Nan (Mum's Mum) for a while now, it is rare to get a pic of either of them separately let alone together.
I will never get a posed pic of the two of them but this has a story far better than a fancy posed portrait anyway.

I have a thing for Flair of late and D-Lish have plenty on offer that suit heaps of situations and scenes, this one is perfect for this LO!

This month's Just Add Paper kit from D-Lish was adorable, it was to be my first JAP kit!! And I was soooo lucky as it sold out sooooo quickly =D

To help inspire there is also the Pink Lemonade September Inspiration Board

Combining the JAP kit and the Inspiration Board I got my craft on...

I really wanted to re-create the icing on the cupcakes, unfortunately I didn't make my colours strong enough but the texture is certainly there =D

Again another perfect Flair!!!

Looking forward to creating more often now that I have secured a pozzie, complete with drawers on wheels, in the dining room =)

Safe safe,
Ree x

Taking on a challenge =)

Wow, I am back already!!

The mojo has returned and I have been floating to and from my creative space as often as possible.
It does mean that one page is taking a little longer but I am creating without guilt =)

Last week I took on Scrapbookingfromscratch's Anita's September sketch challenge....
here is my take

Lots of goodies on this one from both D-lish Scraps and Charm again =)

Another page has begun to emerge from the den, so will probably be back real soon
Take care

Where has the time gone!?!?!?

WOW!! It's nearly been a year to the day?!?!?!?
I am not sure if the whole year has been any faster or crazier than any other year but boy it sure knows how to pass me by!

I have been struggling to find that wonderful zone in my den called my scrap desk due to allowing the study desk take over a third of the space....

Though it is so mush more tempting to spin the desk chair around and express myself through paper and glue, than it is to regurgitate and reflect upon, my up and coming time as a teacher (I should point out that I 'get' the need to do this but it is just not as appealing as free creating), which isn't too far away really!!!

Anyways to my love of paper and glue....what have I been up to?

I have found that I have a huge crush on using masks with texture paste, gesso, or paint/dye!

So most new pages are being used as guinea pigs as I vary my techniques with those.

Also I may not have been creating huge amounts of pages but I am armed with plenty of D-lish, Polly! Scrap, and Charm's Creations to get it all happening, especially in my up and coming Uni break between October and March!!!

So lets check out what I have created, from most recent first:

D-lish, currently have an exquisitely appealing Inspiration Board Challenge, called Citrus Breeze, running and it just screamed my name!

I had just recently purchased some goodies from D-lish, many of which were in these colours (I felt the need for hints of Spring in my stash) here's the link the challenge Inspiration Board rules.

this is my interpretation
Favourite  =)

Others include:

Showtime

Blowing Raspberries
(I need to acknowledge that this is a scrap-lifted sketch, but I regret to have forgotten the original creator, if you know please drop me a line asap so I can give them credit where credit is due TIA!!!)

New Friends

Thanks for taking a look!!
Hope I have provided some inspiration, and guidance to some great supplies =)

Stay safe
Ree xx

Still alive and kicking...

Wowsers time is flying!! I am nearing the end of my 2nd year of Uni and boy has it taken over our lives of late =/
We are all really missing the freedom that has been taken away due to commitments of study, both financial and time wise but we are half way there and will survive =)
However I have managed a couple of layouts in the last two weeks. The first was just a really quick one, simple lines, colours and embellies.
Yesterday's had me coming and going from the Diva Den in multiple, short visits (not how I usually scrap) and allowed me to experiment with my new product Gesso and new tool...a template! Oh how much fun I had and loved every lil bit I did!! Unfortunately my title is a lil bit difficult to read as it on the busy pattern from the template but it was fun trying.

The Cubby creating Clown, fighting huge gusts of wind...

Not sure why it has lost is quality but will check that and fix later =)

I also took a dive into my stash and committed myself to using a Heavenly Heart from Charms Creation! I have a number of her lil creations but never want to use them on just any page LOL.

Ok more study to be done!
So looking forward to a huge break over summer.... to scrap away =D
